Employees and members of the American Heritage Credit Union raised over £ 11,000 of food and donated $ 22,500 to varied charities and organizations on their seventh annual Spirit of Giving Food Drive. In addition, greater than 300 meals and a $ 100 Visa present card value $ 30,000 have been donated to assist native households. Perishable merchandise are historically in excessive demand during the vacation season. American Heritage has set optimistic objectives for the drives in October and November. A complete of 16 native food banks and pantry throughout the counties of Montgomery, Philadelphia, Bucks and Camden acquired the coveted food donations. Among the winners are Mana on Main Street, Upper Melion Area Community Cupboard, Martha’s Choice Marketplace, Bethel Community Church in Pottstown, Seed of Hope Community Food Pantry, Our Daily Bread Community Food Pantry (all in Montgomery County), There are Philabandance and Brin. Mar Avenue Church of God Food Pantry. Twelve organizations throughout the area acquired $ 25 and $ 25 Visa Gift Cards, respectively.
