The Australian star, 23, revealed that she acquired three new tattoos lately, all with very particular and particular meanings.
First, she inked the phrases “graceful warrior” in her late father Steve Irwin’s handwriting.
“The words I spoke to our daughter as I held her for the first time in my arms were, ‘My graceful warrior,’” she wrote on Instagram.
“That’s how her name was born. This is my dad’s handwriting to keep him with me, always.”
Next to the phrase is an illustration of the Australian Zoo’s alligator, Daisy, “to represent our conservation work as Wildlife Warriors.”
And lastly, Irwin honored husband Chandler Powell — with whom she welcomed Grace Warrior Irwin Powell in March 2021, on their first wedding ceremony anniversary — with a wreath tattoo circling her left ring finger, calling it her “wedding ring in bloom.”
The trio of designs, she wrote, will function “validation every day of the three most important things in my life: family, purpose and unconditional love.”
