Dolly Parton has joined TikTok.
The 75-year-old country legend delivered a motivational message when he made his debut on the video-sharing app on Sunday (26.09.21).
The “9-5” singer, wearing a bright yellow top with blue and yellow flared pants, said in the first clip: “”
Dolly then started singing to the fans and told them, “If I can do that, you can do that too … I believe in you.”
Dolly’s account @itsdollyparton already has over 680,000 followers and 1 million likes, and fans were excited to see her join the platform.
One declared, “This cures my acne, pays my debts, heals my psoriasis, and nourishes my soul.”
And another exciting comment: “I’m not ready to dress like this, you can’t just look by chance.”
Meanwhile, the “Jolene” singer recently insisted not to sprinkle his fortune on unnecessary luxuries.
She says, “I really like making money and I love spending it, but I use it for whatever I feel I need it.
“I’m not the kind of person who goes out and spends $ 3,000 to $ 4,000 on a coat or one outfit.”
When Dolly decides to spend her hard-earned money, it usually goes to her stage outfit and her beloved wig.
She thought. “I don’t even know how many wigs I have. I wear one almost every day, so I need to have at least 365.”
Her public appearance may sometimes suggest that this is not the case, but veteran singers were keen to point out that she didn’t feel like a “material girl.”
She explained: “I know it looks like a material girl, but it’s not. I have clothes that I’ve been wearing for years.
“I’m always thinking of my dad and mom … they could have given a family of 12 the amount I would pay for the court.”
