After successfully placing his bigger plans for international domination on maintain in 2021, people pop star Jeremy Loops kept himself busy in 2020 with a string of releases that amassed over 15 million streams. Not unhealthy for a man who was technically taking a vacation.
Today sees the launch of his new single “Postcards” and I truthfully suppose it’s one among the catchiest he’s ever put out.
Showcasing Jeremy’s distinctive vocals, flowing melodies, and sunshine-soaked hooks, “Postcards” was co-written by Jonathan Quarmby (Tom Walker) and produced by Cam Blackwood (George Ezra), and attracts inspiration from the distinctive relationship pressures of occupational journey and lengthy distances.
The music video, co-directed by Anna Telford and Jeremy in his second foray into directing, portrays this inspiration. Shot in a sequence of huge dynamic rooms, in an outdated manor home in Cape Town, embellished by a crew of artists and stylists, it reveals the turbulent ups and downs of relationships, you see love, preventing, enjoyable and some wonderful choreography and dancing ubiquitous with Jeremy and his music.
