Judy Greer was “really scared” when Michael Myers first saw it on the set.
The 46-year-old actress, who is replaying her role as Karen Nelson in the next sequel, “Halloween Kill,” made her first impression when James Jude Courtney appeared as a villain in the iconic horror movie “Halloween” in 2018. Clarified.
She told SFX Magazine:
“James, who played him primarily in our first movie, has a very tall and very scary face, not the face when wearing a mask. [laughs]””
“When Michael Myers came to my house, I would be surprised and probably pee my pants.”
Despite legitimate fear, Greer revealed how much fun the cast had on the set.
She added: “Even when we’re shooting intense things, we’re still laughing and having fun. [laughs] It’s strange how fun it is to make a horror movie, it’s as fun as making a comedy.
“I’m a little more tired because I have to shoot at night. I think people expect this to be dramatic. But in reality the subject is trauma, but the experience is very liberating. And It’s very ridiculous. “
She admitted that there was something “strangely released” about releasing.
She said: “It’s fun to run around and scream, it’s released really strangely, but you really need to scream and you have to let go.
“Being in front of a lot of strangers screaming can be very vulnerable. You need to get it. That’s strange.
“It doesn’t seem like a big deal, but it’s weird.”
