Sir Paul McCartney’s isolated audio chopping celery and carrots has been released by Super Furry Animals.

The Welsh rock band will appear in the 20th anniversary reissue of the album “Rings Around The World” in collaboration with the Beatles legend on the 2001 track “Receptacle For The Respectable”.

Gruff Rhys and his co-owners bumped into a 79-year-old music icon at the 2000 NME Awards, where he accepted a strange request to play the “carrot and celery” percussion on the song.

And now, on YouTube, fans can listen to the 60-second crunch cameo with Macca, which is ideal for ASMR enthusiasts.

Keyboardist Cian Ciaran commented: A really dangerous Welsh accent. Then he says, “I hope you like it.” Then all you know is this biting sound! “

The physical and digital reissue of the Mercury Prize-nominated LP will be released on September 3rd, followed by a second drop on September 24th.

Fans can expect 75 “curiosity from the vault” and more.
