Machine Gun Kelly states that his next album will include “heavier guitar” and “deeper” lyrics.
The 31-year-old musician’s fifth studio album, “Born with Horns,” was released in August, and the “Wild Boy” hit maker was a complete departure from him with his previous record, “Tickets to my Downfall.” A hip-hop sound that suggested a contrast.
Kelly said in “Today’s Sunday with Willie Geist”:
“All the albums are juxtaposed with the previous album, so when I studied’Ticket’, I heard a bright sound, so I just turned off the lights on this album.”
Star (real name Corson Baker) hides his “real self” and admits that he is no longer “feared” to accept different sounds.
Kelly explained: “I’m not scared anymore. There’s nothing to prevent me from being my true self, and I can’t silence or restrain my true self. It’s power, like a hurricane. Stop it, it just lasts until it feels like it’s going to stop, and I don’t always feel like stopping right away. “
The rapper was trapped in a verbal war with Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor. During last month’s performance, he wore a mask on stage and ridiculed heavy metal rockers to “talk.”
Kelly said on stage at the Riot Fest in Chicago: At the age of 50, af ****** wears a strange mask on the af ****** stage and speaks s ***. “
MGK claimed that the feud last year invited guests to Corey for the song “Tickets to My Downfall,” but didn’t use it because it was “f ****** terrible.”
He tweeted. “Corey made a song poem with a ticket for my downfall album. It was terrible, so I didn’t use it.
“He was angry about it and told the magazine about the same album he had almost had. The yalls story is all off. I just admit he’s bitter.”
