Penny Lancaster saved the lifetime of a girl whereas working for the City of London Police.
A 50-year-old mannequin married to music star Sir Rod Stewart helped save a girl who dedicated suicide on a bridge after she joined the military as a Special Constable.
Penny advised “Good Morning Bulletin”: “When you think of the police, you think of the most violent crimes, but we are there to help the most vulnerable.
“There were a lot of incidents on the bridge at this particular time and I helped someone who was pretty desperate on the bridge the other day. It’s rewarding in so many ways.”
Penny determined to affix forces after showing in Channel 4’s “Famous and Fighting Crime” in 2019.
The mannequin first revealed her ambition to grow to be a police officer throughout a web-based chat along with her former “Strictly Come Dancing” companion Ian Waite.
At the time, she stated, “I had a show called’Famous Fighting Crime’that involved the police.
“It was horrifying, horrifying, but I didn’t feel any more comfortable in that position, and I felt this was where I should be. I actually signed up for an officer.”
Penny additionally revealed that she had to participate in a number of assessments to show that she had carried out her mission.
Penny stated: “I had to sit on an exam, English, math type exam and go to an interview with two police officers. Then I did a fitness test and I had to adapt to it. It’s bleep. It was a test. It was pretty tricky and I passed.
“Then I have to go through this large review form, examining myself, my family, the people I know, and all the personal details of all that. did.”
