Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson “laughed hard” after claiming that Vin Diesel had given him “tough love” to improve his performance in the “Fast and Furious” series.
Vinh (53) recently claimed that reports of a feud between him and Rock (49) came about because he pushed the co-star “to help him get that performance where he needed it.” Johnson ridiculed his claim.
Johnson told The Hollywood Reporter about his reaction to the comments. “I laughed and laughed hard. I think everyone laughed. I’ll leave it alone. And I’m hoping for them. I hope they’ll do well with” Fast 9 “. And wish you good luck with “Fast 10” and “Fast 11” and the rest of their “Fast & Furious” movies. “
Vinh previously claimed that as an action series producer, he had a special vision for former wrestler character Luke Hobs and was anxious to take that role seriously.
He states: “It was a difficult character to embody the Hobbes character. My approach at the time was a very strict love to help achieve that performance where it was needed.
“As a producer,’OK, I’ll take Dwayne Johnson, who is involved in wrestling, and force the audience in the world of this film to consider his character as someone they don’t know.’— Hobbs Attacks you like a lot of bricks.
“It took a lot of work. We had to go there, and sometimes at that time I was able to give a lot of harsh love.
“It’s not Felliniesque, but it does whatever I have to do to get performance with everything I make.”
And Emily Blunt, co-star of Johnson’s “Jungle Cruise,” couldn’t resist ridiculing Diesel’s claim. “Thank God for being there. Thank God. He carried you through it.”
Johnson said, “Ferriniesk.”
